Christmas recycling notice
A reminder that many Christmas wrapping papers are recyclable along with all those cardboard boxes that presents are packaged in. Please spent some time to break down those boxes and place in or near your green bin recycling container on your normal trash collection day. A new cardboard collection policy change requires that all cardboard be no larger than 2 '1/2 feet wide x 2 '1/2 feet high. The reason for this change is to allow for this material to fit in the recycling trucks cardboard chute. Recycling cardboard saves enormous amount of space at the landfill. Another option for recycling large amount of cardboard is bring it to the landfill cardboard recycling container during normal business hours.
